Our collaboration

We offer work with good prospects

We ensure that our company is constantly developing. We invest in modern tools and a pleasant working environment. We offer training courses that promote technical expertise and the various competencies – including communication skills, which our employees need in order to work with customers on an equal footing. We train our executives with the aim of turning them into better bosses.

Although we are evolving, one thing remains unchanged: We are a company that operates globally, but which preserves its family spirit.

Our values
We are fully aware of our responsibility to the environment and society

The Gruner Group’s Code of Ethics expresses how we view our responsibilities as an engineering and design company. Apart from adhering to the legal framework in all countries in which we operate, we are bound by clear principles: these include equal opportunities and diversity, the provision of safe and healthy workplaces, transparent communication and ethical conduct, even under commercial pressure. We expect of ourselves, our managers and our employees that these principles be lived out and implemented every day – and ever more efficiently as each day passes.

Our commitment
We offer support, investment and hands-on assistance

The knowledge and skills of our staff are our company’s most valuable asset. Our employees belong to a larger network of professionals working in construction, engineering and related disciplines. It thus makes perfect sense for us to invest in this network: in research projects, in partnerships with higher education institutes, in talent development and in the working groups of industry and professional associations.

In honoring our role in society, we also provide hands-on assistance, for instance through our long-standing engagement as expert consultant in projects in mountain regions. For example, last year’s Gruner Christmas present went to a family of mountain farmers in Linthal in the Canton of Glarus. The Glarner family was visited by a delegation of Gruner Group trainees, who spent time working on the farm and putting their theoretical knowledge into practice. This was just one small contribution towards a better quality of life and working environment.
